Irish milk production fell by 8.4% year-over-year in August, as unusually warm and dry weather put additional pressure on milk availability. Despite higher fat content partly offsetting lower collections, total milk solids declined. Meanwhile, cooperative milk prices edged slightly higher in August, although farmgate prices remain significantly below last year's levels.
