Cheeseburger Menu: onion and SMP gains keep costs firm
The Cheeseburger Menu Index showed limited movement through September, despite contrasting developments across commodities. Stronger SMP and onion prices provided upward pressure, while lower potato contract values and a correction in raw milk prices moved in the opposite direction.
