Butterfat weakness persists at Pulse event 107

Pulse Event 107, the twenty-sixth auction of the 2025/26 season, delivered mostly weaker results than the previous GDT event but showed a more positive outcome than the last Pulse event. Both auctions reflected continued weak sentiment in butterfat markets.Compared with the previous Pulse event, NZ WMP Regular increased by 2.60% and was up 1.22% versus Contract 2 (C2) at GDT Event 402. A total of 1,141 tons were sold.WMP Instant increased by 2.13% compared with the previous Pulse event and rose 1.19% versus C2 at GDT Event 402. In total, 359 tons were sold.SMP MH from NZ increased by 3.61% versus the previous Pulse event but declined by 0.97% compared with C2 at GDT Event 402. Sales totaled 697 tons.SMP from Arla settled 0.15% higher than the previous Pulse event and was also up 0.15% versus C2 at GDT Event 402, with 148 tons sold.Unsalted Butter declined by 2.19% compared with the previous Pulse event and fell 1.58% versus GDT Event 402. A total of 277 tons were sold.AMF Regular increased by 2.32% versus the previous Pulse event but remained 2.44% below GDT Event 402. Sales reached 67 tons. AMF Premium rose by 2.88% compared with the previous Pulse event but was 2.74% lower than GDT Event 402.
