Northern European Beef Market Still Under Pressure

The beef market continues to be under pressure in Northern Europe. Although European price data is missing, it appears from the local listings of Livestock & Logistics and the VEGZ that Dutch and German cattle prices have once again fallen. The demand for meat has simply become so high after the recent price increases in supermarkets that consumers are no longer biting. Meanwhile, prices in Ireland continue to rise.
