The German meat production has remained relatively stable in the first half of 2025, according to data from the statistical office Destatis. The number of German slaughters has slightly increased. Dutch pig farmers, however, barely benefit from this, as the number of foreign slaughters has decreased. Meanwhile, the number of cattle slaughters is under significant pressure, but the number of poultry slaughters has slightly increased.
