Egg price unexpectedly takes a step up

The Dutch egg price has shown an unexpected increase this week. Normally, the price only starts to drop in the summer. The demand is strong, and although the supply is increasing in most European countries, there is a decrease in the Netherlands. In Germany, prices are still falling, although less sharply than before.
