Egg price remains high despite clear decline

The egg price has dropped again. This was expected, but because the decline started from a high level, the price remains relatively high. In Germany, prices are dropping faster, causing Dutch prices to now be higher than those of our eastern neighbors. Meanwhile, the import of Ukrainian eggs has increased significantly over the past ten years.
