Sharp drop in UK milk supply fails to support prices

Great Brittain milk volumes for the week to 24 October were down 5% on the previous year. It is the first time volumes have been this low compared with the previous year, entirely due to the fact that volumes were so high last year. They are still tracking a few percentage points higher than the long-term average, however.
