Belgian fries exports take a major hit

It is often said that when Germany sneezes, Europe catches a cold. In the world of fries, however, when Belgium suffers, Europe feels the pain. This is reflected in the EU-5 export figures for frozen fries. Belgian export volumes fell by 15% in July, dragging down overall exports. Germany and Poland, meanwhile, recorded particularly strong growth.
