DCA benchmarks: Cheese market commentary week 39

The cheese market experienced a flat-to-negative market in week 39 (September 24), although performance diverged between the different commodities. Most benchmarks declined, with Mozzarella, Edam, Gouda, and Emmentaler facing pressure. Cheddar was the exception, observing increases across both Curd and Mild. Despite the weekly corrections, several cheese benchmarks remain above last year’s levels, mostly due to the sharper price declines seen during the same period in 2025.
