German dairy producer Almil, which filed for insolvency in mid-August, has now withdrawn its application. The reasons behind this sudden turn of events remain unclear, as neither Almil nor parent company Hochwald Foods has commented. However, sources close to the company note that the application was withdrawn shortly after its milk suppliers terminated their contracts with immediate effect.
