DCA Pig and Pork Indices hold steady as market pressure re-emerges

The DCA EU-5 Piglet Price Index only went down by a cent to €37.16 euros per piglet in Week 35. While broad stability is shown, the market is beginning to shift to a post-summer supply rebuild, and buying interest remains subdued. Slaughter indices also reflected this, with the DCA EU-6 Live Pig Price Index moving only a cent up to €1.24 per kg.
