A-ware takes one-third stake in Amalthea Group

A-ware has taken a 35% stake in Amalthea Group. As a result, the company becomes a shareholder alongside Ausnutria, which retains a majority stake.Under the new partnership, Royal A-ware will be responsible for the sales of goat's cheese and organic cow's milk cheese. Ausnutria will continue to focus on the marketing and further development of whey proteins. Both companies also intend to jointly invest in the expansion of the cheese factory in Rijen to meet the growing demand for dairy products.For suppliers, nothing changes. The existing agreements between Amalthea Group and the Amalthea cooperative, which is responsible for the supply of goat milk, will remain unchanged. Full acquisition in 2024 Amalthea Group became wholly owned by Ausnutria in 2024, after the group had already acquired 50% of the shares in 2022. With A-ware joining as a shareholder, the company now has a new strategic partner that is expected to further expand the commercial activities related to cheese.
