AnalysisBy Santiago Morales HilariónPublished: Today 03:05 PM CET

Milk production in the 24 selected US states continued to expand in March, reaching 8.89 million tons, although the pace of growth slowed for the fourth consecutive month. Despite a modest monthly increase, farmgate milk prices are still significantly lower than the previous year, weighing on the milk-feed price ratio and farmer profitability.
