Pulse event 105: Price declines across WMP, SMP, and butter

Pulse Event 105, the twenty-fourth auction of the 2025/26 season, was characterized by generally weaker results compared to the previous Pulse event and a slightly more mixed outcome relative to the latest GDT event.Compared to the previous Pulse event, NZ WMP Regular decreased by 1.37%, while it increased by 1.84% compared to Contract 2 of GDT Event 401. A total of 1,164 tons were sold.WMP Instant declined by 1.34% relative to the previous Pulse event but increased by 1.79% relative to C2 of GDT Event 401. Sales totaled 336 tons.SMP (medium heat) from NZ decreased by 2.44% compared to the previous Pulse event, while rising by 4.94% versus C2 of GDT Event 401. A total of 471 tons were sold.SMP from Arla decreased by 2.63% compared to the previous Pulse event and declined by 1.42% relative to C2 of GDT Event 401, with 200 tons sold.Unsalted butter recorded the sharpest decline, falling by 7.32% compared to the previous Pulse event and by 7.03% versus GDT Event 401. A total of 300 tons were sold.AMF Regular decreased by 1.15% compared to GDT Event 401. A total of 73 tons were sold. No volumes were offered in this category at the previous Pulse event.AMF Premium declined by 1.24% compared to GDT Event 401, with 325 tons sold.
