JBS closed 2025 with record-breaking financial results. All divisions of the company contributed significantly to this strong performance. Strong demand for meat, particularly in the United States, underpinned these results. For 2025, the company reported adjusted IFRS EBITDA of $6.8 billion, with an EBITDA margin of 7.9%. Profitability also improved. Return on equity reached 25% over the past 12 months, an increase of 3.2 percentage points compared with 2024. Earnings per share rose by 15% to $1.89.Strong performance in the USA The company’s American operations performed particularly well. Pilgrim’s Pride delivered an EBITDA margin of 15.2%, supported by strong demand in the US fresh meat segment and continued growth in branded products. The Just Bare brand surpassed $1 billion in sales, marking a significant milestone. Operations in Europe and Mexico also improved through optimisation efforts and a stronger product mix.JBS Beef North America achieved record revenue of $28 billion, driven by strong US demand and historically high beef prices. Seara achieved an EBITDA margin of 16.9%, supported by record export volumes and robust domestic sales. According to the company, growth was driven by product innovation and brand strengthening. The business capitalised on major food trends, including high-protein frozen meals, air fryer-ready products, and snack partnerships with Netflix.JBS Brasil recorded an EBITDA margin of 6.2%, with Friboi reaching its highest-ever processing volume. Strong domestic demand, export expansion, and continued growth in value-added categories, such as ready-made meals and processed foods, contributed to the results.Strong Australian beef exports JBS Australia reported an EBITDA margin of 11.3%, driven by higher volumes in both domestic and export markets. The primary driver of growth was a particularly strong Australian beef market. While global beef markets remained tight, Australia was a notable exception.The country managed to maintain supply levels and benefit significantly from high international prices by exporting substantial volumes of meat. As a result, the beef segment led profitability, with improved pricing and volumes offsetting a projected 20% increase in cattle costs. Pork and salmon segments also posted margin improvements due to enhanced operational efficiency.
