Mixed developments observed across dairy futures exchanges

AnalysisBy our team of market reportersPublished: Today 09:10 AM CET

This week, dairy futures markets showed markedly different developments across regions. On the CME, most contracts moved lower. The exceptions were SMP C1–C6, Whey C1–C6, and Cheese C1, all of which increased. The CME spot market also declined for most commodities, except for whey and SMP, which rose. On SGX, most contracts also moved lower. However, SMP C1 remained unchanged, while SMP C2–C6 moved up. AMF C1 was unchanged, while AMF C5–C6 increased. Butter C1–C2 remained unchanged. Liquid milk remained unchanged in C1 but moved down in C2 and C3. On EEX, most contracts moved higher. The exceptions were SMP C1, butter C3–C6, whey C1 (unchanged), and liquid milk C1 (unchanged) and C3, which moved down.
