Shifts in EU grains remain limited in 2026

The total grain cultivation in the European Union remains stable. A slight increase in wheat and barley comes at the expense of grain maize. The latter crop is particularly vulnerable, especially in the drought-sensitive Southern Europe. It will primarily be the conditions that determine whether smaller or larger quantities of the various grain types will come to market.
