Russians are planting less wheat due to low prices

Wheat is not exactly the most profitable crop for most farmers. When prices are also moderate, as is currently the case, there is nothing left of a wheat balance. This problem is not exclusive to the Netherlands. In Russia, grain growers are also looking for alternatives to wheat. The USDA did not release the Wasde report due to disagreements over the budget of the US government, and the usual export figures are also missing. A support program for soybean farmers, who are struggling due to the trade war, is also on hold.
