HZPC acquires Irish market leader IPM Potato

Seed potato company Royal HZPC is acquiring the Irish seed potato company IPM Potato. With this acquisition, HZPC strengthens its position in Scotland, where IPM grows most of its seed potatoes. For HZPC, the acquisition means the addition of a major brand in the field of potato breeding and export in the British Isles. It is a party that fits excellently with our way of working. The total area of the HZPC Group increases by 1,800 hectares of seed potatoes with the arrival of IPM Potato. These potatoes primarily grow in Scotland. Growth opportunities Huistra sees new markets and export opportunities for HZPC in important growth areas in North Africa through the acquisition.
