Potato price to zero, free market collapsed

Now that the supply of off-land fry potatoes is becoming widely available, the extent and impact of the crisis on the potato market is becoming truly clear. The Belgian Viaverda gave a signal earlier this week by not establishing a listing due to a lack of transactions. Fellow countryman Belgapom had to admit today (Friday, August 15) by not being able to compile a listing. The German Reka is also not listing this week, underscoring that the free potato market has effectively completely collapsed.
