Few foods are as iconic in the UK as the humble potato. From golden chips to creamy mash, potatoes are a staple of the national diet. To cover their needs, the country is still leaning heavily on it’s former partners in the European Union, making it the biggest customer for frozen potato products. The national potato industry is meanwhile showing scars from Brexit.
