A top harvest for German grain farmers is probably not in the cards. That is at least what the German Farmers' Association DBV expects. The ability of the soil to retain moisture makes a big difference for the yield in this dry year, according to DBV. The acreage figures for corn, soybeans, and wheat came from the US, along with the weekly Crop Progress report from the USDA.
