The Dutch potato company CelaVita in Wezep is in dire straits, as the company lost retailer Albert Heijn as a key customer this spring. To better compete in the market, CelaVita needs to cut costs and is investing in new markets, including fresh fries. In ongoing negotiations for a new collective labor agreement has asked the unions in a final offer to moderate their demands.
