FrieslandCampina increases milk price again

FrieslandCampina is repeating with the milk price for October. Again, €1.50 per 100 kilos is being added to the price, just like last month. The company says this reflects expectations about milk price developments among competitors in the sector. There is also a small upward correction built into the price. As a result of all this, the guaranteed price for October comes to €45.50 per 100 kilos. The base price (without surcharges) at an annual delivery of 1 million kilos according to the DCA Farmgate milk price calculator comes to €44.66 per 100 kilos, the maximum milk price remains just below €50 per 100 kilos at €49.66. The organic guaranteed price for October is being lowered by 25 cents to €65.25 euro per 100 kilos. Although the market is relatively stable, FrieslandCampina says it still needs to be reduced somewhat because in the previous period a little too much was paid. BelgiumIn Belgium, suppliers with an annual volume of 1.3 million liters get an additional €1.45 per 100 liters, bringing the base price for October to €43.18 per 100 liters of milk.
