Vreugdenhil follows the market with first milk price 2026

Following other processors, Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods also enters the new year with a significantly lower milk price. In addition, the powder producer has made a remarkable change by allowing the valuation of protein to rise above that of the fat component in the milk. Vreugdenhil lowers the milk price for January by €3.15 to €38.61 per 100 kilos. Including the maximum bonus linked to Tomorrow's Dairy, the payout price can rise to €45.41 per 100 kilos. These payout prices are calculated based on an annual delivery of 1 million kilos and the new standard contents in the Netherlands of 4.49% fat and 3.57% protein. Protein above fat Underlying, the milk price of Vreugdenhil sees a considerable shift. The fat price decreases by €0.90 to €4.85 per kilo. The protein price, on the other hand, increases by €0.25 to €5.05 per kilo. Throughout 2025, the valuation of fat was higher than that of protein, but Vreugdenhil will revert to this in 2026.
