FrieslandCampina makes significantly more profit in Nigeria

The results of FrieslandCampina in Nigeria clearly show progress this year. Especially in the past third quarter, the dairy cooperative can look back on strong results. The Nigerian FrieslandCampina Wamco, of which FrieslandCampina holds almost 68% ownership, achieved a revenue of nearly 160 billion Nigerian Naira in the third quarter. Converted to euros, this amounts to €94 million. It results in a pre-tax profit of €5.9 million. Compared to the same period last year, the profit almost increased tenfold. The revenue for the first three quarters amounts to €275 million and a profit of €9.6 million. This means that more than half of the profit was recorded in the third quarter. In the whole of 2024, the company recorded a loss of about €450,000. In a limited commentary on the figures, it is indicated that there is volume growth and higher selling prices. Recent cost savings and improvements in the ordering process are also paying off. Pakistan Also in Pakistan, the participation of FrieslandCampina is performing better than last year.
