A-ware follows FrieslandCampina with a price reduction

Dairy company Royal A-ware lowers the conventional milk price for November just like FrieslandCampina with a significant step, and goes even further. One milk stream is excluded from this. That is the organic milk. It increases by €1.00 per 100 kilos. In the Netherlands, the conventional milk price of A-ware for the month of November decreases by €7.50 per 100 kilos to a baseline level of €44.36 per 100 kilos. This is 80 cents below the baseline price of FrieslandCampina. The maximum milk price is still €51.36 per 100 kilos. This means it pays €1.20 more than is available from FrieslandCampina. However, it is slightly less than the maximum milk price that Arla pays for November, as also shown in the Boerenbusiness Milk Price Comparator. The weighted average milk price of A-ware - the 'actual price' - decreases to €48.39 per 100 kilos. Belgian milk price The Belgian milk price of A-ware decreases even further than the Dutch one. For November, the baseline price there drops by €7.71 to €43.76 per 100 liters. This is 6 cents below the baseline price of FrieslandCampina. See also the Belgian Milk Price Comparator from Boerenbusiness. Increase for organic The organic milk price for the Netherlands simultaneously rises by €1.00 to €68.45 per 100 kilos. This movement is also in line with what other processors and collectors are doing. Supplier cooperative Eko-Holland has raised the (advance) price for organic milk in November by 50 cents to €70.05 per 100 kilos of milk. For biodynamic milk, it pays €75.05 per 100 kilos.
