August, the third month of the 2025/26 milk season, recorded a modest rise in milk production of 1.83%, or an additional 26 million kilos. This followed a sharp increase of 14.47% in June and a smaller gain of 0.65% in July. Year-to-date (YTD) production through August stands at 1.42%, equivalent to 147 million kilos. August stands two months before the seasonal peak begins.
