August proved to be a challenging month for China’s dairy imports, with only 4 of the 15 tracked commodities recording gains. Whole milk powder rose by 55.17%, whey increased 4.83%, anhydrous milk fat gained 4.58%, and condensed milk expanded by 33.16%. In contrast, significant volume declines were registered across SMP, WPC80/WPI, casein, caseinates, lactose, infant formula, cheese, butter, cream, yoghurt, and fluid milk.
