US exports edge higher despite SMP weakness

In the United States (US), July delivered strong results compared with the same month in 2024, although some categories recorded notable declines. Skim Milk Powder (SMP) fell sharply by 15.65%, while liquid milk exports declined by 19.82%.In contrast, most fat-based products and cheese posted remarkable growth. Whole Milk Powder (WMP) rose by 163%, cheese by 28.91%, butter by 207%, and Anhydrous Milk Fat (AMF) by 90.72%. Overall, June exports increased by 8.16%, adding 119 million kilo in liquid milk equivalent (LME).
